last mile

My weight has been stabilizing around the 81/82kg level for the past 3 weeks or so. Is this normail - have I hit a wall? Slightly frustrating as it feels like all the pain without the gain. Perhaps its the diet - or to be exact not following the diet to the t.  I've settled on  a routine of working out at night... skipping to start, then dinner, then the weight exercises 1hr later.

Wgt 82kg

The plank does not get any easier does it?  I get the missus to time the 60 seconds... and i really suspect she's playing tricks on me... first 20 seconds breezes by and she then takes what feels like an eternity to get to 40 seconds. Great fun though.

After a very quick fall in wgt in the first month of the project, the weight loss seems to have plateaued for me.. is this normal? or am I not doing things right? Maybe its because of the disruption of the routine when I went on holiday.

Indulge? Did I really read Patrick say its good to indulge (abit) this week?

Thats great news as I'm flying to Singapore this weekend. Food there is not as good as good old M'sia but I'll be indulging for sure. Its good for the mind.

Week 2

Reading Patrick's email - it seems I'm not getting anywhere near the reccomended 8 hrs sleep. Other than that - been trying to keep to the plan as closely as possible.

Day 7

Thoroughly enjoyed the workouts this week. I'm not entirely sure if  I have kept to the half-diets to the T but am happy to report that I did feel hungry most of the time.  My big takeaway from this week is definitely the fact that I survived ok with roughly half of my normal food intake. A fellow Pcper even suggested that  I should re-invest the food money saved into a gym membership at the office.

So far, the main challenge has been to figure out the best time to get the workouts done. I've tried morning/noon/pre-dinner/post-dinner sessions. Will irregular timing a problem?

I've just had a look at Patrick's dietary plans. Hmm might have to get use to having less carbs for dinner.
